SB 2011

Minus the terrible weather, our Spring Break Lake Trip-2011 was a wonderful time! We missed the Lutzs this year though! This was our 4th year to spend spring break at the lake. We enjoyed yummy food, wonderful company and of course fantastic shopping! Adding three babies to the mix sure changed a lot from the past years but we wouldn't have had it any other way! Enjoy the pics! And for more pictures, check out Kate's blog!

Another one bites the dust...

...so said my friend Cat, who also just purchased her first van. We are now 1 of 4 in our immediate group of church friends that own not just a van, but a Honda Odyssey! Daniel counted just the Odysseys in our church parking lot on Sunday and there were 10! We don't attend the largest of churches and I know at least one that was not there because of sick kids...that's a lot of Odysseys! It is definitely the most popular van in Northwest Arkansas. Daniel decided he's going to wave at every one he sees just like motorcyclists and Jeep-ers do, ha!

The other day I was listening to a little Beck, feeling semi-cool with my aviator sunglasses and sun roof open when a Ford Mustang pulled up next to me. I suddenly remembered I was in a van and so not cool! Ha! Oh well...this thing has everything I want...the aforementioned sun roof, navigation, DVD player, leather seats, aux jack for my iPod, one touch sliding doors and most importantly SPACE! So...even though I'm not cool on the outside...I am way more comfortable than those people that were in the Mustang! That counts for something, right?

More visits from friends!

Last Wednesday my friend Lindsey and her 3 kids came for a little visit. It was such a fun time having them here! We didn't plan much except a concert on Thursday night. Daniel kept all 4 kids while Lindsey and I headed to Fayetteville to a concert that neither of us knew the people playing...or so we thought! Turns out we knew a lot of the songs by headliner, Brandon Heath, even though we didn't know his name before! Thanks Daniel, for being willing to brave 4 kids at once! (By the way, he had all 4 kids in bed and asleep about 1 hour after we left, that's impressive!)

Riley and Jude Woody came for a few hours on Thursday afternoon...here are a couple of shots of snack time! I think Lindsey and I realized we could NOT run a daycare! It was fun but I could not do 6 kids day in and day out! It's tiring! (Miss Mallory is missing in the pics because she was still napping.)

Thanks Morris Family for coming to visit! We enjoyed having you all here!

Sarah and Reese

Not much happening around here these days...however, SJ is really getting social! She loves to try to get other babies/toddlers/men's attention. I guess she sees enough of me during the day that she doesn't care about getting women to smile at her! Ha! I captured a cute video of her trying to get our friend Reese's attention at breakfast the other day. Enjoy!

10 Months!

We are a little late on this post...but, better late than never!

Fun facts:
- Crawling EVERYWHERE! Pulls up on EVERYTHING! Takes a few steps around the coffee table and ottoman. This little lady gets where she wants!
- Eats about 3.5 times per day. We're slowly working towards getting her exactly on our eating schedule: breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack after her afternoon nap...also a bottle with breakfast and dinner.
- Also eats some solids but tends to be picky on textures. Just like her daddy! She does love any bread I give her though, just like me!
- Back to naps, she takes 1-2 per day. If we're out and about in the morning she is just fine missing that morning nap and will take a longer one in the afternoon.
- Learned how to play peek-a-boo. Not sure where she learned it because neither Daniel nor I taught her. It's pretty adorable though! She also claps and waves hi...I'm adoring these motor skills!
- Loves checking herself out in a mirror. She laughs and laughs when she sees her reflection. Not sure she realizes it's her though!
- Just for my future comparisons to the next baby, SJ poops at least 3 times a day sometimes up to 5. Ugh! I guess I will take that over constipation!
- Sarah Jane is still a happy, content, lovable baby girl. I told her today that I love having her as my breakfast/lunch date everyday! I can't believe we are already past 10 months of age. She is definitely a treasure and I praise my Lord for her daily!
