My dear college girlfriends, Shelly and Chandra, came to visit Sarah and me this weekend. We sent Daniel to visit one of his college friends in Enid so it was just a girls only weekend except for this handsome fella, Briggs!
Shelly and Chandra also brought their girls, Piper, Lilly and Sophia. Poor Sophia didn't even make a pic this weekend. Sorry Sophia-Bia! Here are Lilly and Piper just before bedtime on Friday night.
Watching Elmo's World before bedtime!
And can I please tell you how much of a blessing this visit was?! S and C wanted to make several dinners for me for after this baby arrives. I think we ended up with about 10 meals in the freezer so that's easily 2 weeks worth of meals for us!
Shelly also helped me master diaper shopping at Amazon and Walgreens. I bought 5 packs of Pampers at Walgreens for $25 and a monster-super-jumbo pack on Amazon for $10! Wow! I love these girls! Not many friends will come visit with a plan to HELP you get things ready around your house for the future. They are true servants and always eager to help and serve. I should keep them around! Ha! Love you girls! Thank you doesn't even begin to cover my gratitude!

New Food Phase
I'm so excited becuase the other night Sarah ate the same meal Daniel and I did for dinner. We had roast, carrots and potatoes and I thought I'd see how she did. She seemed to love each item and so I just cut up little pieces and kept handing them to her. I'm so ready to drop spoon-feeding and feed her exactly what we eat. That just means dinner has to be ready around 6:30 which is not easy for Daniel and me!

Hi!
SJ has been waving hello for a few weeks now. It varies between the uncontrolled-flail of the arm to an open and close of the fingers wave (my personal fave). Have I mentioned how much she blesses my life? I adore her!

Ice Cream and Pregnancy
I decided to be nice and share my ice cream with SJ tonight. She obviously loved it...it was chocolate and she is female afterall!
"Dad, I don't have time to take a picture, I'm in the middle of eating yummy goodness!"
I remember being younger and wearing my shirt on my head like it was hair...she seemed to not mind it there either. :)
And just to document a couple of things in my current pregnancy...baby girl is moving like crazy! I've seen my belly move a few times which is probably one of the neatest parts of being pregnant. I held Sarah like a little baby today to sing her a song before bed and realized how big she has gotten and how uncomfortable it is to hold her in that position...she's heavy! I'm so sad that Sarah has already moved out of the little baby stages so I'm excited to hold a newborn girl again soon! Now, if we could only settle on a name...

Snow Bunnies
Sarah got to spend her snow days with Miss Blair (about 5 mo old) this week! Becca and Blair came to stay with us Tuesday through Thursday while Blair's daddy was roughing it in sunny San Francisco! We had so much fun with each other's company, I'm so glad they came!
Just before bathtime...
They were so adorable together! Sarah loved looking at Blair and would just smile and point (her new favorite trick) at her. Blair seemed just as intrigued with SJ. I can't wait until they're older and can really play together!

Ladies and Gentlemen...
...we have our first tooth! I noticed it this afternoon while on the phone with my mom. It must have just popped through because I have been checking those gums daily for weeks!
My mom said I needed to get a new picture of SJ out and I realized that I haven't taken many pics in the last couple of weeks. I guess nothing new has happened that I have felt needed photo documentation...so, here's a pic from our friend Kellen's 3rd birthday party in January.
