2 Month Checkup

Sarah had her two month checkup today. She is now 11 pounds 8 ounces and 23.5 inches long. All of these pictures are a few hours after the appointment. Still a happy girl!


Unfortunately, this checkup included three shots. One in each leg and one she had to take orally. She was all smiles during the appointment until the shots. Poor thing!


I felt so bad for her that I went and bought her a toy. Not sure if it was to make her feel better or me!

G-ma

Daniel's mom, G-ma (formerly known as Grandmommy), came to stay with us Wednesday night this week. I had a scheduled mouth surgery for Thursday morning at 7:30 so we asked G-ma to come stay with Sarah. I thought I was going to be put under for my surgery and would not be fully functioning for the rest of the day. G-pa dropped Connie off on Wednesday around noon which was wonderful because we were able to do a little shopping! I had my big surgery Thursday morning...which turned out to be way better than I had anticipated and I didn't have to be put under. G-ma fed Sarah AND did all of our laundry AND cooked lunch AND prepared some food for dinner AND made a cake. All we ask is that the baby is fed when Connie comes but yet she goes above and beyond and spoils us. Thanks G-ma!

Pool Party!

Sarah's new bathing suit came with a hygenic liner just like adult bathing suits...as if you're really going to "try on" a bathing suit on a 7 week old.

It was too hot to really stay outside long. Sarah did get to put her feet in the pool but for the most part she stayed inside and watched everyone outside. Next year she'll be having a blast in the water!

Cousin Carter enjoyed the pool! He's 10 months not 11 months old! I can't believe he's so old now. I found out I was pregnant the day he was born!

Maybe it's the hat but her head looks huge in this picture. She was in the middle of eating a bottle so she did not appreciate being interrupted for a picture.

One of my best friends got married last week. I was the matron of honor and Sarah was the flower girl. Congrats Doug and Laura! We will miss you when you move to Germany!
