Some more facts about my THREE year old...
-loves TV, pretty much anything animated!
-can dress herself almost fully except for socks and certain pairs of shoes
-still refuses to work with me on letters and numbers (maybe MDO in the fall will help?)
-never loses anything...ever. She always knows where any random item is.
-loves "my church" (Trinity Grace Church) and "red church" (where we go to BSF)
-anytime I ask her who is coming over or where we are going she says "ri-wey jude?" (Most of the time she is correct, ha!)
- fully potty trained, although has occasional full weeks of accidents???
-in bed around 8PM; awake around 7AM
-she is an extremely girly girl. I guess that's good, but its so hard for me to embrace!
-her favorite number is 2-4-9 (not two hundred forty-nine). Seriously, anything requiring an answer with a number gets this for a response.
-loves to help in the kitchen (my OCD also struggles with this)
-loves her sister but doesn't always show it.
-Also, she calls Caroline, "Liney-Cat"...always. And, it might be the cutest thing I've ever heard.

Per Sarah's request we had a princess party to celebrate her big day. She had several friends come dressed in their princess gowns and superhero costumes. She felt SO special. Thanks, friends, for loving on my little girl. She also got to celebrate her birthday two other times...with Papa, Ree, Buggie and with Cmom, Grandfather and Aunt Bet Bet. I think SJ thinks her birthday lasts all month! She loves it!

Ogden, America

We visited C-mom and Grandfather over Easter weekend. We haven't been down to LA (lower Arkansas) since August. Well, Daniel went in November but only took Caroline with him. Anyway, we had a blast playing outside, looking at cows, riding the four-wheeler, visiting with Aunt Lois, playing in "chocolate milk" and visiting their church. Aunt BetBet joined us and we celebrated her birthday and also with Sarah's just a little early. Thanks for hosting us C-mom and Grandfather!

Spring Break 2013

Our 6th annual spring break trip was a blast! Aside from the cold, snowy weather! The Lutzs were able to rejoin the group this year and it was so wonderful to hang out with them! We also brought a babysitter along because our group now has 8 kids, wow! As usual, we spent most of our time eating, shopping and enjoying wonderful fellowship. This trip is always good for my soul! I'm thankful that we have made this trip a priority every year. It's so fun!

(Sorry the pictures are cut off. If you click on the first one I think a slideshow should open and the full image will be available!)

Weekend in McAlester

Hello friends and family! I am slightly back in business on the blog scene. Woohoo! We sold Daniel's truck a couple of weeks ago and finally bought an iPad. Every Penturf in this house is obsessed!

This past weekend we met my sister and kids at my dad and stepmom's house. As always, the kids were beyond excited to see each other and Papa Charlie and Hunny. (Quick funny...couple weeks ago my dad calls and I tell SJ to say hi to Papa Charlie. She says, "hi, Charlie Brown," Ha!) on Saturday we visited my great-grandmother to celebrate her 102nd birthday. All I can say is, WOW! She was dressed up so cute and fancy. She is still sharp as a tack which amazes me. She knows exactly who I am and still asked about my girls (before they made their way over to see her). She impresses me!

That evening, my stepbrother and his family came over for a cookout. We had gorgeous weather and I loved sitting outside all night visiting and snuggling their new baby, Ryder. Thank you Papa Charlie and Hunny for a fabulous weekend. Love you!

For Salle and Aunt Susie!

Still no computer so it's hard to get a good post up! However, I will check in for a few minutes. Hmm, what's new? Well, we officially listed our house with a realtor. Will you join us in praying for a quick smooth sale? Thanks!
Also, I turned another year older...I'm "in to" my 30s now. I'm old. but, Theo's gave me free dessert and some friends gave me a sweet GNO!
We are still trying to sell Daniel's truck...somebody please buy it!
I've been tutoring about 5 nights a week. I enjoy being able to stay in education in a different manner and make some extra cash while doing it. However, it's kept my evenings super busy. Thankfully, my wonderful husband is okay with taking over the girls as soon as I'm gone. Thanks D!
We all got sick last week. I had my first experience with toddler puke. Yuck. I also threw up so hard I guess I burst a blood vessel in my eye??
Oh, and lastly, I finished SJ's new dresser. This dresser is from Daniel's dad, Jim. It belonged to one of his parents and when they moved last March I asked if I could have it. He was gracious enough to give it to me and I'm excited to have the finished product with the history behind it!
Not much else is going on except a fun OKC Thunder game in the near future. Can. Not. Wait!!!
